Education: A Pathway to Hope

5 june 2026

Adithi and Anshika are sisters whose family migrated from North India to Bengaluru in search of work and a better future. Like many migrant families, they face daily challenges that often make it difficult to look beyond immediate needs and imagine what tomorrow could hold.

Yet amidst these challenges, there is one thing that remains constant: their determination to learn.

When their mother first walked into the school seeking admission for her daughters, her face was visibly swollen from the violence she had endured at home. Despite her circumstances, she carried herself with remarkable courage. She had only one request:

"I want my daughters to study."

Behind those simple words was a mother's unwavering commitment to giving her children opportunities she never had. Her determination was impossible to miss.

At home, the girls' grandmother plays an important role in their lives, often providing care and protection during difficult times. Together, the women in this family have become a source of strength and stability for Adithi and Anshika.

For the sisters, education is more than attending classes. It is a place of safety, growth, and possibility. It gives them the freedom to dream.

Anshika hopes to become a doctor one day, serving others and making a difference in people's lives. Adithi dreams of joining the police force, inspired by a desire to protect and help those around her.

their journey is only beginning, and there is still a long road ahead. But every dream starts with a first step, and for these sisters, that step was access to education.

In a rapidly growing city like Bengaluru, schools can be found in almost every neighborhood. Yet for many migrant children, quality education remains out of reach due to financial barriers, unstable living conditions, and limited support systems.

At Radiant Life, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams. Through educational support and community care, we walk alongside families like Adithi and Anshika's, helping ensure that circumstances do not determine a child's future.

Today, two sisters are sitting in classrooms, learning, dreaming, and preparing for the future they envision. And sometimes, that is where transformation begins.
